Verbier is a town set in the pretty Swiss alps, complete with verdant pastures, high mountains and breathtaking vistas. Even if you're now up for taking it all in on a hike, climb, or bike ride, you can still see it all from the top of Mont Fort, Verbier's highest peak, accessible by cable car.
Don't miss learning a little bit about Swiss culture by taking a guided tour (cheese, rye, mill deerpark) or experiencing one of the local festivals (cowfights, etc.).
Museums and Churches
See our pages on Museums and Churches. Especially worthwhile is to vist the Gallo-Roman ruins, the Pierre Gianadda Foundation, and the St. Bernard Dog Museum in Martigny.
