• Getting Around Verbier

    Verbier is not a purpose built resort, but it doesn't sprawl large distances either. To give you some perspective, you can walk from one side of town to the other in abut 30 minutes. Due to the one way street system with high traffic in peak season, sometimes it may actually be quicker to walk than to take the free bus.
    The only concern would be if you lived in one of the outlying suburbs.
  • The Local Bus System

    In season, there is a free local bus system which runs up and down the Verbier road and links all ski resorts, but it only runs during the day: 08:00 - 19:20. In season it runs approx. every fifteen minutes. There is a more limited service in the pre and post seasons and in the summer.

    There are 4 lines:

     - Verbier (Place Centrale & Médran) - Savolyeres - Carrefour

     - Verbier
    (Place Centrale & Médran) - Savolyeres - Les Hameau - Les Esserts

     - Verbier
    (Place Centrale & Médran) - Sports Centre - Patier

     - Verbier
    (Place Centrale & Médran) - Verbier Village
